A field blend of varietals. Produced in Portalegre to the north east of the Alentejo on the granite foothills of the São Mamede mountains, where cooler temperatures, along with many old vines, gives complexity and freshness.

  • Flavour

    Silky palate with great elegance and texture, nice depth of fruit with vibrant acidity adding to a long finish.

  • Aroma

    Complex aromas of citrus fruit, lychees with some smoke and toasty oak.

  • Ageing Process

    80% barrel aged in new 500L French oak barrels for 9 months
    giving enhanced complexity and 20% aged in stainless steel.
    Bottled December 2020.
