Produced in the sub-region of Monção and Melgaço of the Vinho Verde Region in the north west of Portugal where Alvarinho grapes are exclusively grown. This wine is made from cool climate grapes grown in the mountainous Melgaço area, and shows the typical minerality and tight acidity derived from the local stony granite soils.

Flavour

Firm, tightly structured palate with intense fruit and complex minerality, finishing with typical Melgaço stony acidity.

Aroma

Fresh, citric aromatics with some exotic lime notes.

Ageing process

4 months ageing on light lees before cold stabilization and bottling.
